EGF like repeats and discoidin domains 3 is a protein that is encoded by the EDIL3 gene.The protein is an integrin ligand. It plays an important role in mediating angiogenesis and may be important in vessel wall remodeling and development. It also influences endothelial cell behavior.EDIL3, which contains epidermal growth factor-like repeats and discoidin I-like domains, is a secretory protein that plays an important role in embryonic development and various illnesses.
